Grand River Technical School Advisory Committee Meetings

The Grand River Technical School advisory committee meetings were held Wednesday, providing an opportunity for industry representatives to provide insight into the needs of their particular industry and direction and advice for programs and purchases.

Bill Gutshall is a Chillicothe Firefighter/Paramedic and has served both as a teacher and advisory committee member. He talked about the importance of industry involvement.

Hunter Caldarello is a student in the Automation Program.  He talked about how the program is preparing him and others to be ready for the workforce.

Caldarello says many of his classmates will likely have job offers before they complete the program because of the training provided.

GRTS Director Adam Wolf says the Advisory Committee is very important to them as they work to keep the programs relevant and up to date.
