In a Junior Varsity basketball doubleheader against Mid Buchanan, the Chillicothe JV girls won 36 to 34. The Chillicothe JV was led by Kealee French with 19 points, Liz Oliver with 7, Madison Albaugh with 6 and Aubrie Burton and Isabella Fitzpatrick both with 2.
Mid Buchanan JV boys beat Chillicothe 38 to 28. Ricky Wilson led the Hornets JV with 8 points, Kenyen Gannon with 7, Quenten Midgyett with 4, Langston Johnson with 3 and Andrew Hecker, Ashton Baker and Carson Samm each with 2.
In 8th Grade basketball the Lady Hornets beat Truman 34 to 20 in the Savannah Middle School Basketball tournament. Emerson Staton led the team with 20 points and Maicee Albrecht with 10.
The 8th grade Boys Hornets team lost their opening round game in the tournament to Truman 53 to 12. Jaishon White led the 8th grade Hornets with 8 points.
