A Meadville man had serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon near Chillicothe. State Troopers report 57-year-old Darrell D Kraus of Meadville was taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. According to the report, Kraus was eastbound on US 36, east of Chillicothe, when he ran off the north side of the road and struck a guardrail. His dump truck overturned, coming to rest on its side.
