The Chillicothe Street Crew is getting rid of an old paving machine. The City Council approved adding the machine to the surplus property list. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the new paving machine that was purchased this year has been put to good use and will be used more in the future.
Chappell says the Street Department started with smaller jobs and has become very proficient with the machine.
The old paving machine will be sold through sealed bids.
