The week between Christmas and New Year’s is always a heavy travel period on the roadways. Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt Jake Angle says a heavy travel week means an increase of Highway Patrol visibility.
Angle says the Highway Patrol Officers will also watch for aggressive drivers.
Sgt Angle also says there will be stricter enforcement to help make travel safer in areas such as speed limits, seatbelts, and phones down.
