USDA Community Infrastructure Grants & Loans

The US Department of Agriculture announced investments totaling $1 Billion to improve community infrastructure in rural communities.  The projects include loans, grants and a combination of both.  The funding will increase access to health care, education, and public safety while spurring community development and building sound infrastructure for people living in rural communities

The recipients in the local areas include:

Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant 

Carrollton Leasing Assn, Inc.           Loan of $159,300 and Grant of $85,700

Community Facilities Disaster Grant

City of Laclede                                Grant of $39,650

Carrollton R-VII School Dist.            Grant of $50,100

Community Facilities Grant

City of Hamilton                             Grant of $33,100
