Chillicothe Police Department Weekend Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 196 calls for service from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include.

Friday,

12:04 a.m., Officers arrested a 31-year-old female for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on U.S. 36 Hwy. at U.S. 65 Hwy.

12:28 a.m., a citizen called the Police Department with concerns of a possible hostage incident, which included the caller.  Officers were able to determine the caller was elderly and residing in a nursing home.  The nursing home was contacted to assist the resident.

9:13 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a lost juvenile in the 900 block of Cherry St.  Officers discovered the juvenile had suffered from a medical condition and temporarily lost their memory.  The child was reunited with their parents without further incident and was unharmed.

1:58 p.m., Officers took a report of burglary, stealing and property damage in the 600 block of Calhoun St.  Officers arrested a 37-year-old male in connection to the incident.  The male was processed at the Police Department, transported to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.

7:36 p.m., Officers at the Police Department took a report of child abuse.  The investigation is on-going.

Saturday,

10:54 a.m., Officers were dispatched to an out-of-control juvenile in the 1100 block of Hillside Dr.  The incident will be referred to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.

11:32 a.m., Officers took a report of stolen property in the area of Jackson St. and Broadway St.  The investigation is on-going.

10:47 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a well-being check in the 500 block of Mohawk Rd.  Officers responded and discovered the driver was in a motor vehicle crash causing property damage.  The driver had a medical emergency which is believed to have caused the crash and was taken to a hospital for treatment.  The vehicle was towed.

Sunday

9:21 a.m., Officers arrested a 22-year-old man on a warrant out of Chillicothe for property damage, after the male turned himself into the Police Department.  The man posted a $150.00 cash only bond and was released.

12:53 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury traffic crash at N. Washington St. and Webster St.  Minor damage was reported.

4:10 p.m., Officers arrested a 46-year-old woman for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at Country Club Dr. and Dorney Dr.  The woman was processed at the Police Department and released pending a court appearance.
