One-hundred-seven calls for services were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department Tuesday. Some of the calls include:
12:28 pm, Officers responded to the 600 block of Locust Street, in reference to a theft. A suspect has been named and the investigation continues.
1:28 pm, Officer picked up a dog that was running loose in the 300 block of Calhoun Street. The owner was located and cited.
7:43 pm, Report of a person in the 900 block of S. Washington Street acting strangely outside the business. Officers contacted the person and they left the premises.
8:08 pm, Officers out in the 900 block of Third Street on a continuing investigation of animal ordinance violations. A 40-year-old resident dog owner was cited for dogs at large, failing to register dogs with the City, Animals unvaccinated and animal nuisance.
Officers also handled numerous traffic stops, continued investigations, worked with other agencies, and performed building security checks.
