Miller Earns 5th at MSHSAA State Wrestling

Chillicothe Hornet Junior Brock Miller brought home a fifth-place medal from the State Wrestling Tournament.
Miller won his first round match in the 182 pound division, then lost to the eventual undefeated State Champion from Osage. He bounced back to beat wrestlers from Odessa and Buffalo before losing to a Boonville wrestler. Miller then beat a Savannah wrestler by pin to finish 5th in state with a 44-5 record.
Brody Carins in the 170 pounds division went 2 and 2 in the tournament to finish the season with a 33 -14 record after losing to the eventual 3rd place and 5th place medalists.
Bryce Dominique in the 138 pounds division lost in the first round to the eventual state champion, he won his next match then lost to the eventual third place medalist.
The Hornets finished in 24th place out of 53 teams in Class 2. Pleasant Hill won the Class 2 team title.
