Representative Rusty Black says he will file for re-election to the 7th district House seat, but says he is also keeping his options open.
The Senate redistricting has not been completed at the time filing opened. Currently, Livingston County is in the 21st Senate District. If the redistricting moves Livingston County to the 12th District Senate, Black plans to withdraw from the House race and will run for the 12th District Senate seat.
