MEC Title On The Line – Basketball Senior Night

2004 was the year the Red Sox won their first World Series in 86 years, Bob Holden was Gov. of Missouri, the TV Show “Friends” aired it’s final episode, and the Chillicothe Boys Basketball team won their most recent conference championship. Current members of the Hornet Boys team had not even started school. That long streak could end tonight if the Hornets can beat their sports nemesis Maryville.
Hornets Coach Tim Cool believes his team is ready for the challenge.

A Hornets win would create a three way tie for the championship with Lafayette and Benton, each with one loss.

The Lady Hornets tonight will have a chance to avenge one of their four losses on the season when they face Maryville.
Coach Darren Smith talks about the match-up.

Any Chillicothe High School or Middle School that shows their student ID at the gate will get in for free, according to Chillicothe administrators.
It will also be Senior night. KCHI will carry both games live.
