The Chillicothe Lady Hornets open their district tournament play when they take on St Joseph Lafayette tonight at 7:00pm at St Joseph Benton high school, which is hosting the Boys and Girls district semi-final and final games this week.
The Lafayette Girls are 16-11 on the season. They beat Savannah in the first round of the district tournament 51-24. Chillicothe girls are seeded Second and had a first round bye in the six-team district tournament.
The Lady Hornets beat the Lady Irish 53 to 24 in the regular season. The Lady Hornets are 22 and 4 on the season. KCHI will broadcast the game tonight with the pre-game show at 6:45 and tip off at 7:00 pm.
