A Green City man died following an accident that resulted from a medical condition Wednesday morning. State Troopers report 74-year-old Chester D Hale of Green City was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital, where he later died.
The report states Hale was eastbound on Missouri Highway 6 at about 7:50 am and due to a medical issue, ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence and utility pole. He was not wearing a safety belt.
