A Grass Fire at 1436 Merrill in Trenton summoned Trenton Fire Fighters Monday evening. The call came in at about 4:30 pm and the fire crew arrived to find grass and yard waste burning in a back yard and between homes. Two hand lines were used to put out the fire.
Mild damage was reported to the siding on the homes.
The fire started with the homeowner burning yard waste.
The fire crew was on the scene for less than 15 minutes.
