Attracting Pollinators To Your Garden And Yard

If you are planning your garden or maybe doing some landscaping of your entire yard, consider what can be done to attract pollinators to your yard.  It’s not just the bees, but also butterflies and even hummingbirds that help to pollinate our plants.

The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering a FREE program, “Native Plants: Pollinator Gardening.”  This online program will be on March 30 from 10-10:45 a.m. and is being put on by the staff of MDC’s Springfield Conservation Nature Center. This program is open to all ages.  Follow the link to register.  https://mdc-event-web.s3licensing.com/Event/EventDetails/182792

The program will help you learn how to make yards and/or gardens more inviting to a wider variety of pollinators through this free virtual program.  Registration is required and you will need to provide an e-mail, so a program link can be sent to them.  This program will include a chat-based question-and-answer period where participants can interact with the presenters.
