Arrests and investigations are in the report from the Chillicothe Police Department for Friday. The officers handled 100 calls for service. Some of the calls include:
2:06 am, Officer stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of Webster Street for a traffic violation. The investigation revealed the passenger, a 37-year-old from St. Joseph, had an active Buchanan County felony warrant for Neglect of a Child. The passenger was taken into custody and held at the Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
4:15 pm, Officers and the Children’s Division responded to a home for allegations of Child Abuse. Investigation continuing.
9:46 pm, a 54-year-old came to the PD to turn themselves in on a Linn County arrest warrant for a Probation Violation. They were turned over to the Linn County Sheriff’s Department.
11:33 pm, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Washington Street. The officers found the driver had a suspended driver’s license. The driver was arrested, processed and released from the Law Enforcement Center. Officers also seized drug paraphernalia from a passenger in the vehicle.
