Winners in the 59th annual Farmers Electric Cooperative Youth Tour to Washington DC and the C.Y.C.L.E. program in Jefferson City were selected from the entries of essays received from area students. Megan Meyers from Farmers acsElectric says two juniors and three sophomores were selected as winners of the essay contest.
Meyers announced the winners.
Alfaisal and Boyd will travel to Washington DC in June. Heil, Farmer, and Eller will participate in the C.Y.C.L.E. program in Jefferson City in July. This is the first time the winning students have been able to travel and participate in the programs since 2019.
