The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 98 calls for service Monday. Some of the calls include:
12:52 pm, Officers attempted to serve papers in the 300 block of N. Washington Street. When contacted the person rapidly backed her vehicle and nearly struck an officer. The vehicle traveled westbound on Third Street and stopped at Third and Woodrow Streets, the driver ran from the vehicle and was taken into custody. The 50-year-old was arrested on a Livingston County warrant for Financial Exploitation of the Elderly. Additional charges may be filed. That person was held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
4:09 pm, a two-vehicle, non-injury crash in the 800 block of Industrial Road. A vehicle pulling from a parking lot struck a passing vehicle. The driver was cited for failing to yield from a private lot. a
6:19 pm, an individual came to the Chillicothe Police Department to turn themselves in on a Municipal warrant for Property Damage. They posted an appearance bond and were released.
