Lady Hornets Soccer falls to St. Pius

Lady Hornets Soccer Lose Heartbreaker to Benton in 2 OT

Fresh off their championship run in the Chris Hotop Classic, the Lady Hornets soccer squared off with St. Pius at home.  The first half ended in a 0-0 deadlock.

Chillicothe played a strong 2nd half, but the Warrior’s Megan Giffin was successful on penalty kicks in the 72nd and 77th minutes which were enough to push the Warriors over the Hornets 2-0.

Goalkeeper Allie Italiano came up with 10 saves

Head Coach Jimmy Chapman said of the game, “I felt like we played a good match that didnt deserve to end how it did. Losing because of PKs is never easy because you feel like its out of your hands at that point. Pius is a really good team with some really good players and i felt like we were right there with them,”.

JV soccer won their match 1-0 on the back of a Isabelle Witt goal and a Hadley Beemer shutout.
