Animal Ordinance And New Council Members On Trenton Council Agenda

Amendments to Trenton’s animal ordinance and the swearing-in of newly elected council members are part of the agenda for the Trenton City Council on Monday.  The meeting is at 7:00 pm at Trenton City Hall.  The meeting is also available via zoom.

The ordinances for consideration include amending the Anilam and Fowl Ordinance to include an Animal Welfare Committee.

A resolution authorizing the application for grant funding from FHA

Adding a section to the Business license ordinance for fee exemptions.

And an ordinance accepting the results of the April 5th election.

Old business includes an update on painting the R-9 building at the airport and review and approval of a memo for 6-month review and COLA increases.

The council will then adjourn Sine Die

The new members will be sworn in and the council will reconvene.

    2. Finance Committee
    3. Economic Development Committee
  2. Election of president pro-tem
  3. Liaison members of various boards
  4. Discussion/approval of Convention and Visitors Bureau budget
  5. Discussion/approval of PTO donation policy
  6. Discussion of ATV driving after dark – Humphreys
