Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

Ninety-five calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Officers Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

12:19 am, Officer conducted a traffic stop at Third and Hickory Streets for equipment violations.  It was determined the 21-year-old driver was driving while impaired.  An alcoholic beverage and illegal drug paraphernalia were discovered in the vehicle.  The subject was transported to the PD where they refused to submit to a blood draw to determine the alcohol/drug content of their system.  The subject’s driver’s license was confiscated and they were cited for DWI and released.

12:25 pm, 64-year-old subject in PD to turn themselves in on a Franklin County warrant for Harassment.  The person was taken to the Livingston County Courthouse and transferred to Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail staff.

 12:49 pm, Officers responded to Washington and South Street for a 2 vehicle accident.   A Chillicothe man was issued a citation for following too close.

1:36 pm, Subject reporting to the PD that subject possibly sexually assaulted here several years ago.  Investigation continuing.

3:09 pm, Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at Washington and Park Lane.  Investigation ongoing.

3:43 pm, Subject in to report an Identity Theft.  Determined to have occurred in another State.  Subject advised they need to make their report at that location.

10:29 pm, Officers assisting Emergency Services on a medical call in the 1200 block of Alexander Street.  The person was transported after receiving emergency care at the scene but later died at the hospital.
