A Gillman City man had minor injuries when the semi he was driving overturned on Route P, at 250th Street in Daviess County. The accident happened Thursday at about 3:20 pm, as 49-year-old Frank H Mackowiak was westbound on Route P and attempted to make the turn onto 250th. The truck went off the right side of the road and overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side. Mackowiak was wearing a safety belt and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
