The Chillicothe High School Class of 2022 celebrated Decision Day on Tuesday. Decision Day celebrates seniors’ postsecondary plans to enroll in college, enter the military or go straight into the workforce. It also helps kick-start a plan for seniors who have not yet decided. Cindy Baker from the High School says the program encourages seniors to finalize and follow through on their plans for the future.
Decision Day was sponsored by rootEd Missouri. Â rootEd partners with local and national organizations working to meaningfully improve postsecondary and career outcomes with advice, exposure, and access to financial resources, so that all students in rural areas and towns can pursue their dreams. Â Chillicothe High School was selected to be part of a three-year grant to employ an advisor to work with all seniors in planning for the future.
rootEd provided prizes and pizza for the entire senior class.
