The Chillicothe High School Senior Awards Ceremony included the presentation of scholarships and awards valued at nearly $700,000 and with potential renewals that bring the total to more than $1.7 million. This includes local scholarships in excess of $250,000.
Just some of the notable scholarships presented include:
The Virginia Wall Scholarships of $10,000 to Braxton Johnson and $7,500 to Libby Washburn
The Jerry Litton Scholarships of $5,000 to Emmet Young and $3,000 to Braxton Johnson.
The Kenneth & Eugenia Churchill Foundation Scholarships of $8,000 to Braxton Johnson and $4,000 to Tayler Epperson
Also honored in the ceremony were four students preparing to enter the military and several students that will transition directly into the workforce.
