The Lady Hornets of the pitch were out to celebrate their five seniors as they played Savannah at home on senior night.

Juliann Gabrielson had the only score of the first half.  That came in the 18th minute and was assisted by Lucy Reeter.

Shortly fter half, Savannah’s Corrine Stewart was able to burry an equalizing goal in the 41st to make it 1-1.

Lucy Reeter seemed to be everywhere in the second half, she netted a go-ahead goal in the 47th minute to regain a lead for her squad. Her 25th of the season. Jessica Reeter had the helping foot.

Stewart wasn’t done producing for her team, though.  In the 52nd minute, the Savannah product broke for the net again and nullified the Hornet’s 2-1 lead.

Lucy Reeter wasn’t losing on her senior night, in the 56th minute she netted goal number 26 on the year to regain a lead that would not be squandered again. Senior, Sophia Luetticke added her name to the stat line with the assist.

Reeter needs two goals to tie her record for scores in a season which was set last year at 28.

Juliann Gabrielson wasted no time giving her team an insurance goal to work with, she scored her second in the 56th minute with the hand up by Delanie Kieffer.

Keiffer put the game on ice with a goal of her own in the 80th Chilli up 5-2.

With two away games left in their regular season, Ellie Barnett, Essie Hicks, Sophia Luetticke, Lucy Reeter and Claire Ripley as well as team manager Jackson Albertson all said goodbye to Jerry Litton with a 5-2 victory over Savannah on senior night. The Lady Hornets are now 13 and 6.

JV got a win by shutting out Savannah 2-0 with goals from Alice Hurtgen and Aubrie Burton.
