The Missouri Highway Patrol reports one arrest and an additional accident in the area counties on Thursday.
A single-vehicle accident on Route J in Daviess County left a passenger with minor injuries. The accident happened Thursday at about 7:00 am, 2 miles north of Kidder. According to the report, 29-year-old Tyler K Kasney of Altamont was southbound and struck a deer. His passenger, 24-year-old Heather L Ragle of Altamont had minor injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment. They were not wearing safety belts.
A Kansas City woman was arrested by State Troopers in Caldwell County Thursday morning. Twenty-six-year-old Madison J Deal was arrested at 11:29 am for alleged speeding and DWI. She was taken to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s office and taken to the Caldwell County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.
