Trenton Utility Projects

The City of Trenton has several utility projects in the works and at various stages of completion.  City Administrator Ron Urton says the replacement of water meters has slowed due to supply issues.  While the water department is waiting on meters, the Underground crew is progressing on the replacement of a water main on 17th street from Pleasant Plain and Princeton Road.

Urton says the new water main is installed and functioning for the sewer plant. Crews are waiting on a four-inch water meter before the final cleanup of the site.

The city has are being finalized plans and specifications for modifications at the water treatment plant.  The information will be sent to the Department of Natural Resources for review, following the review, the city will go out for bid on the project.
