Mowers for the Green Hills Golf Course and Chillicothe Street Department were approved by the Chillicothe city council in a special meeting Monday. The Council met at City Hall to review bids for zero-turn mowers.
Green Hills Golf Course required a diesel mower with at least a 60-inch deck. The lowest and best bid, based on price and availability was from Woody’s Outdoor Power Equipment of Chillicothe in the amount of $15,577.00. the mower has a 61-inch deck and is currently on hand and can be delivered as early as today.
The Street Department also needed a zero-turn mower with a 61-inch deck. Their bid spec was for a gas mower. The council accepted the bid of $11,927.00 from Woody’s Outdoor Power Equipment. The mower is currently on hand and available for delivery.
