Chillicothe Police Report Includes Dog Bite & Sexual Assault

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 121 calls for service on Tuesday.

6:32 p.m., Officers responded to the 2000 block of Washington St., for a dog bite. During the investigation, the Officers discovered two children were playing with a dog and the dog got aggressive and bit one child on the face. The child suffered from several teeth scratches on their face. The dog owner was notified and the animal was quarantined. The investigation is ongoing.

7:02 p.m., Officers responded to the 500 block Washington St, in reference to a male saying “Its and stick up” at the check-out counter. They also stated he was going to start a house fire. The person was identified by the employees and by Officers. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

10:37 p.m., Officers responded to the 2600 blk. of Shawnee Dr. in reference to a sexual assault. Officers identified the victims and the suspect. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

11:46 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection of S. Washington St. and Bus. 36 HWY for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported
