The Start of the summer Travel season is generally marked by the Memorial Day weekend. Sargent Shane Hux from the Missouri Highway Patrol says if you are planning to travel keep a few things in mind.
Hux says before you head out be sure your vehicle is ready for your trip.
Hux says to make sure you, as the driver, are also ready to travel.
There will be special enforcement operations taking place for the Memorial Day weekend and the patrol will be out in force.
