Chillicothe Police Respond To Theft, Fire, and Child Abuse Calls

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 96 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

1:29 am, Two juveniles were reported attempting to enter vehicles in the area of Clark Street and S. Woodrow.  Officers located the juveniles and reports were forwarded to the Juvenile Authorities.

Officers received a call about a stolen vehicle that was recovered in Kansas,  the vehicle was towed to Chillicothe.  Officers out to process the vehicle for evidence and the investigation continued.

1:14 pm, Subject calling to report a possible stolen vehicle.  Subject advised to provide further information and report to their local jurisdiction in another state and have information provided to this PD.

3:00 pm, Officers assisting Children’s Division on possible abuse case in 300 block of 15th Street.

3:32 pm, Subject turned themselves in on a Failure to Appear warrant on an original charge of Failure to Obey a Lawful Order.  They posted bond and were released with a new court date.

5:18 pm, Subject calling in C & I driving incident that occurred.  Information was provided to Officers.

8:21 pm, Officer assisted Emergency Services on a fire alarm call in the 700 block of Clay Street.  Determined to be food burnt on a stove.
