Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

Chillicothe Police investigated numerous calls for service Tuesday, including accidents and a run-away juvenile from Linn County.

11:54 am, Officers took a report of a debit card fraud that occurred in Chillicothe.  A suspect was identified and the investigation continues…..

2:35 pm, Officers out at Polk and N. Washington Street for a two-vehicle crash. Minor damage to vehicles and medical treatment was refused.  The striking vehicle believed that stopped traffic had begun to move and struck the vehicle in front of them,

8:05 pm, a 43-year-old came to the PD to turn themselves in on a Livingston County warrant for Failure to Obey Judge’s Order on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The warrant carried no bond and the subject was transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail by Livingston County Deputy…..

8:14 pm, Information was received about the missing person in the Brookfield area.  Brookfield looking for them.

9:15 pm, Officers responded to the 900 block of Dickinson Street for a physical domestic.  Upon arrival, the suspect was located and arrested.  The victim was not injured and a report was taken.

9:34 pm, Livingston County Deputies were assisted by a PD officer in apprehending the 17-year-old Juvenile Runaway that had removed their probation-required ankle monitor and fled the area…  The teen was taken into custody near US 36 & 65..
