A collision involving an SUV and a horse-drawn buggy, left a passenger in the buggy with serious injuries. The crash occurred Monday at about 6:15 pm on Highway 6, west of Trenton. According to the report, the buggy driven by 23-year-old Chris R Kramer of Jamesport was westbound and an SUV driven by 23-year-old Jessica E Lewis was also westbound and ran into the buggy’s rear. Kramer and his passenger, 23-year-old Sarah Kramer were ejected from the buggy.
Sarah Kramer was flown to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City with serious injuries. Chris Kramer had moderate injuries at the scene but refused treatment. Lewis had minor injuries and was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.
