Busy Day For The Chillicothe Police Department

The Chillicothe Police Department had a busy day, responding to 137 calls for service on Thursday.

8:20 am, Report of subject jumping out of a car somewhere on US 36 by Chillicothe and the subject tried to get back into the vehicle. Officers and Deputies checked and were unable to locate them.

9:04 am, Officers worked on finding a subject reported as missing from the Bethany area. They followed numerous leads and are continuing the investigation within Chillicothe and the surrounding areas.

10:59 am, A 33-year-old turned themselves in on a Municipal warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Stealing. They were released on bond.

1:40 pm, Report of a subject jumping from a moving vehicle between Cherry and Washington Streets. The subject was contacted and agreed to get back into the vehicle and travel to the facility for treatment.

4:48 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services on a fire call to the 1000 block of S. Washington Street. The premises displayed no fire. The alarm was activated by construction taking place.

5:29 pm, Emergency Services and Officers checked near the timberline of an old Prison property on the 1500 block of Third Street after receiving a report of a subject being unsure of their location and having medical issues. The subject was located by Officers and Emergency Services and transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

There were also numerous traffic stops, continuing investigations, and building security checks.
