Chillicothe Police Department Report For Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 85 calls for service on Saturday and 137 calls on Sunday.

Saturday, August 13th, 2022

01:05 PM Officers responded to an out-of-control juvenile in the 2700 block of Washington. Officers were able to calm the juvenile and resolve their issues for the day.

01:24 PM Officers worked a single-vehicle crash without injuries near the area of Calhoun and Elm.

Sunday, August 14th

01:03 PM Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Washington that resulted in the arrest of an adult male for felony possession of a controlled substance and for driving while revoked. The suspect was transferred to the Caldwell County Detention Center for pending charges. The suspect also had 4 outstanding warrants for his arrest from Livingston Co.

08:05 PM Officers took a report of trespassing and assault in the 600 block of Woodward St.  The investigation is ongoing.

Officers also conducted traffic stops, business checks, paper service, and followed up with numerous investigations.

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 132 calls for service on Monday.

4:14 am, Officers checked a business in the 1100 block of Walnut Street with its doors open. The officers closed the doors.

9:22 pm, An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at Third and Elm Streets. The officer determined the 61-year-old Chillicothe subject was driving while impaired. The subject was arrested, processed for Driving While Intoxicated, cited, and released.

There were also numerous traffic stops, continuing investigations, and building security checks.
