Motorists Should Watch For Students And Buses

Students returning to the classroom also means kids walking to school and waiting for the bus.  Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers urges motorists to be extra cautious this week.

Give yourself extra time in the mornings and as school is letting out.  If you can avoid the school zone, you may save yourself from a delay. If you see a school bus, be watching for the lights.  Flashing yellow means the bus is preparing to stop.  If the lights are red, the bus is loading or unloading.  If the stop arm is extended, do not pass the bus!

Extra caution helps to keep the children safe.
