Police Report Includes Arrest, Theft, And Unattended Death

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 109 calls for service Monday.  Some of the calls include:

6:35 am, Officers checked the well-being of a resident in the 1300 block of Webster Street. The resident was found to be deceased.  The Livingston County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene and took custody of the body.  Foul play is not suspected.

9:17 am, Trailer reported stolen from a lot of business at 1020 Mitchell Road.  Information was entered into National Law Enforcement Computer System.  It is believed the trailer was taken at the same time as theft of equipment from a nearby business.

10:36 am, Report of kids throwing items into the roadway from home construction near 200 block of Clay Street.  Officers spoke with the kids. Parents were notified.

3:06 pm, Report of several stolen pieces of equipment from business in the 1100 block of S. Mitchell Road.  The theft is believed to have occurred last week.  A description of items was received and a report was taken.  Surrounding law agencies were notified.

9:40 pm, Officers to the 1100 block of Elm Street on a warrant service.  A 62-year-old was arrested on a Parole Violation Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The person was processed and transported to the Randolph County Jail.
