Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

One-hundred-sixty-one calls for service were handled by Chillicothe Police Department Wednesday.  Some of the calls include:

02:45 p.m., Officers took a delayed report of an alleged sexual misconduct that had taken place online. This investigation continues.

06:22 p.m., a citizen came to the Chillicothe Police Department regarding issues at home. While at the Chillicothe Police Department they made remarks about suicide. The citizen agreed to get help. Officers assisted the citizen in getting help.

08:59 p.m., Officers responded to the 1300 block of 3rd St. for a possible suicidal person. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the person in question. They advised Officers they were Ok and just upset. Officers were called back to the location an hour later.  Officers took the suicidal person into protective custody. They later transported the person to a hospital for a mental health evaluation.

09:32 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Burnam Rd. and Park Ln.  The officer found the driver had a suspended license. They were arrested, cited, and released.

11:48 p.m., Officers conducted a check on a pedestrian in the 1200 block of Washington St. as the person was walking behind a closed business dressed in all black.  A search of the person’s belongings led to the discovery of a controlled substance. Officers arrested the 39-year-old man for possession of a controlled substance. The man was transported to Caldwell County Detention Center.
