The Lady Hornets Tennis team improved to 4-1 on Thursday evening taking down Lexington 7-0.
Scores were as follows:
Carpenter and Kieffer won #1 Doubles 8-0 against Lexinston’s Bell and Petray.
BeVelle and Crowe won #2 Doubles 8-1 against McMillan and Miller.
Carpenter beat McDowell 8-0.
Washburn beat Bell 8-0.
Garr beat McMillan 8-1.
BeVelle beat Miller 6-0 (ending early due to a Lexington injury).
Crowe beat Petray 8-1.
And in a bonus match for more experience, Washburn beat McDowell 8-0.
The Lady Hornets are back in action in the 10-school Benton Tournament on Friday morning.
