CLAA Tournament Play In Results

The CLAA Basketball tournament began over the weekend with two play-in games in the 9-teams tournament. The Hale/Bosworth girls team beat Keytesville 49 to 46. Hale/Bosworth was led by Karter Burnside with 26 points and Keytesville was led by Madison Brashear with 17 points, Maggie Richardson with 12 and Kinsey Wilhort with 10. Braymer Woman Arrested By Troopers

A Braymer woman was arrested by State Troopers early Friday morning.  State Troopers in Livingston County arrested 23-year-old Erin Forsyth at about 1:30 am.  The arrest was for alleged DWI and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.  Forsyth was turned over to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and later released.

Nelson Requests Change Of Venue & Judge

Garland Joseph Nelson, the man accused of killing two Wisconsin brothers in July of 2019, made an appearance in Caldwell County Court Monday for his arraignment.  Nelson appeared via ZOOM, waived formal arraignment and entered a Not Guilty plea. Braymer Woman Sentenced On DWI charged

A Braymer woman was booked into the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail to serve a 7-day sentence following a December 30th arrest.  Twenty-nine-year-old Annie Prothero of Braymer had been arrested by the Missouri Highway Patrol for DWI, with a person under 17 in the vehicle.  On Wednesday, she made a court appearance and plead guilty to the charge.  She was sentenced […]
