An Engineering Services Contract for the City-Owned Railroad in the Industrial Park was approved by the Chillicothe City Council. City Attorney Robert Cowherd explains: Cowherd says McClure Engineering has already done about $4,500 of work. The contract approved by the council is for an amount not to exceed $11,500. The City of Chillicothe set the rates for the COBRA health insurance for former employees that want coverage for up to 18 months. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the rate saw a 5% decrease from last year. Auditor Hannah Fletcher says the COBRA rate dropped from $719 to $696.
