Home of Sliced Bread – Baking Contest

Sliced Bread Day in Chillicothe included numerous events on Saturday, beginning with the Parade. The annual Bread Contest was held at the Grand River Historical Society Museum. Director Pam Klingerman has those results.  For the adults. For the Juniors, Klingerman says they had fewer entries this year and she encourages the children to participate. The 7th Annual Chillicothe Community Christmas Dinner is being called a success by the organizers. Sharon Brooks stated they had almost 200 dine-in visitors, 65 drive-through meals, and 290 meals delivered to individuals, nursing homes, and businesses in the community.
