The purchase of new playground equipment and the installation at Simpson Park was approved by the Chillicothe City Council Monday.  The council first approved the participation agreement with Greenbush Purchasing Cooperative.  They then purchased the playground equipment through the cooperative, from Athco.  The cost of the equipment and bonding is just under $334,000.
