Mudcats Falter In Late Innings

The Chillicothe Mudcats Baseball team lost the lead in the late innings in an 11 to 8 home loss to the Des Moines Peak Prospects. KCHI’s Ryan Christofferson has the details. The Mudcats have a day off before returning to action Wednesday when they take on the Sedalia Bombers in a game to be played in Trenton on Wednesday.

CHS Sports Schedule Update

Yesterday’s Dose of December caused the postponements for sporting events. The Pony Express Baseball Tournament which includes Chillicothe vs Maryville in the consolation semi-final game was moved to today. Golf against Trenton was moved to May 4th. Tennis was postponed until further notice. Junior Varsity Baseball scheduled for today against Northwestern has been postponed to the 26th at Shaffer Park
