Puckett Appointed Prosecuting Attorney

Grundy County has a new Prosecuting Attorney.  Governor Parson on Friday appointed Kelly W Puckett to fill the position. Puckett has served as the interim prosecuting attorney for Grundy County since January 2019.   Puckett holds a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from Missouri Western State University and a Juris Doctorate from Washburn University School of Law.

Local Law Enforcement Agencies Receive Public Safety Grant Awards

Public Safety Awards totaling more than $700,000, including funding for various types of equipment for law enforcement agencies across the state, have been approved by Governor Parsons.
