Flood Warning Continues For Sumner

Flooding continues on the Grand River at Sumner.  The river crested at 30.62 feet and the river dropped to 30.14 feet overnight.  The National Weather Service expects the river to fall back below flood stage of 26 feet early Sunday morning. MDC Offers Grand River Float Trip

A Float Trip on The Grand River will be September 16th.  The program is presented by the Missouri Department of Conservation and is for those 14 and older, that have some canoe and kayak paddling experience.  Adam Bransgard from the MDC talked about the planned trip.
