GRM Networks Award Grants To Area Fire Departments

GRM Networks, a communications Cooperative in Northern Missouri and Southern Iowa announced additional grants for rural fire departments in the area.  The $500 grants were awarded to Galt, Laredo, Linneus, and Meadville. The grants were provided as part of the cooperatives Community Improvement Grant Program and the presentation of the grants was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Carrollton Public Library Awarded Broadband Grant

Missouri’s Department of Economic Development awarded $870,000 in grants to libraries in Missouri.  The grants are through the Missouri State Library to help residents access high-speed internet for telehealth and distance learning in response to COVID-19.
