Champions were crowned in the MSHSAA State Softball tournaments. In Class 1 Salisbury beat Canton 4-1 for the championship with Maysville beat Stoutland 10-3 for Third Place. Several KCHI area softball teams competed in the first round of the MSHSAA Softball Post Season Tournament.
