Clayton Randall Greener, age 50, a resident of Platte City, Missouri, passed away December 30, 2021 at his residence.

Clayton was born the son of Charles Ralph Greener and Connie (Allnutt) Greener on December 31, 1970, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was a 1989 graduate of Cameron High School. He was employed by Capital Electric in Kansas City, Kansas.  He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, and also mowing at the farm.

Clayton is survived by his father, Charles Greener and wife Pat of Chillicothe, Missouri; his mother, Connie Bennett, of Parkville, Missouri; two sons, Trent Greener of the home, and Parker Chavez of Liberty, Missouri; one sister, Angela Klein of Phoenix, Arizona; step sisters, Pamela Hartley and husband Ron of Cameron, Missouri, and Amanda Brown and husband Stan of Sedalia, Missouri; step brother, Gregory Wendt and wife Traci of Cameron, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, and step nieces and step nephews; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Greener; sister, Chriscinda Greener; his brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Diana Greener; and step brother, Jeff Wendt.

Funeral services will be held at the Liberty Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.  A scheduled visitation will be held at the Liberty Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, January 7, 2022, one hour prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Welsh Cemetery, Dawn, Missouri.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Methodist Church of Chillicothe and/or the Welsh Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
