Appointment To The Airport Board
An appointment to the Chillicothe Airport Advisory Board was approved by the City Council. Mayor Theresa Kelly made the recommendation to appoint Mark Mendenhall to fill the opening. The council voted 5/0 to approve the appointment. It is a 4-year appointment.

Three jail bookings are reported by Livingston County Sheriff’s Department. Grundy County Jail Booking
A Trenton man was booked into the Grundy County Jail on a warrant for alleged failure to appear for a payment hearing following a guilty plea on a charge of DWI. Forty-eight year old Matthew Haden Waddle was booked Friday. Local bond is set at $342.
Closing Of Low Water Crossing Extended
Repairs to a Low-Water Crossing near Jamesport are taking longer, due to the recent weather. A portion of LIV 500 has been closed by the Livingston County Road and Bridge crew between SW 68th Avenue and SW 55th Avenue through July 14th, as weather permits.
